Two computers, a telephone, a radio, an electronic speller and a fire extinguisher that together were valued at $5,300 were reported stolen this week from Downers Grove School District 58’s El Sierra School, 6835 Fairmount Ave. Police said the burglars, who pried open a gymnasium entrance, also caused about $360 damage to doors, a fish tank and a telephone.
