The policy of financing consultants for useless studies is not only wasteful but ridiculous. Few if any read the final reports and those that do probably don’t understand them. How is it that when the budget needs balancing, no one suggests eliminating this type of funding? Why not have Gov. Edgar spearhead a drive to make the consultant fees obsolete and direct the money to the areas needed?
