These 75 albums appeared on Billboard magazine’s Top 10 albums charts in 1992; 12 of them reached No. 1. (In comparison, 56 albums appeared in the Top 10 in 1991, but 14 of them made it to No. 1.) The number of weeks each album was in the Top 10 in 1992 appears in parentheses, followed by the highest spot it reached during the year. Album titles and artists are listed in order of the Friday issue in which they appeared in the Top 10 during 1992. For those using this list to refresh their memories before filling out the Friday Readers’ Poll on Page 3, take note: Those albums indicated with a star first appeared in the Top 10 in 1991 and are not eligible this year.
