Fire officials are investigating a mobile home fire Wednesday afternoon in a trailer park in an unincorporated area near Beach Park. Reports said no one was home when an employee at the Kingsway Estates Trailer Park, 38455 Sheridan Rd., noticed smoke coming from the mobile home. A faulty electrical appliance near the home’s south wall may have sparked the blaze, reports said.
