Snowball softball will be among the sports events and activities that will take place at the fifth annual Itasca Winterfest from noon to 4 p.m. Jan. 31 throughout the Spring Brook Nature Center and Washington Park at Irving Park Road and Catalpa Avenue.
Sponsored by both the nature center and park district, the fest attracts winter sports enthusiasts from all parts of Du Page for horse-drawn sleigh rides, cross-country skiing, ice skating and ice sculpting, among other events.
