Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
I’m surprised the Tribune wasted so much ink on the whining of Jacob Neusner, who by his own admission left a “prestigious eastern university” for some minor league branch of the Florida university system.
He’s upset his student got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He also said that Tzvee Zahavy was fully doing his job with student contact, committee meetings and research while teaching the same courses at two different universities.
Maybe the putting forth of these unproven statements as fact and cheating on your students is the way Zahavy and Neusner do it in their Hebrew studies program, but your readers can be assured this is not the norm for the rest of academia.
