The recent editorial on the hazards of hazing could not have been more on the mark. It is indeed unfortunate that a few members of fraternities must abuse the many advantages of the Greek system by denigrating peers.
Be assured that fraternities do not condone hazing or any other behavior that demeans either their own members or others. We are encouraged that more and more states are now imposing strict laws against hazing, and this fraternity is in full support of those actions. Any of these abuses cheapens the fraternity experience, contradicts the values we stand for and has no place in our world.
