Police on Tuesday arrested a 28-year-old city resident and charged him with possession of a stolen license plate. Jesus Rivera Ocasio, 1246 E. New York St., was released from the city lockup pending a March 26 court appearance. He was stopped for a traffic violation in the 900 block of Lake Street Tuesday night and police said they discovered he had a stolen plate on the rear of his vehicle. Ocasio also was charged with improper use of registration and driving on a suspended license.
