A Chicago woman was charged with retail theft and battery Tuesday at Sears Roebuck and Co. at Oakbrook Center, police said. Lethia A. Williams, 24, of 517 E. 75th St., was arrested after she allegedly struggled with a security agent who had tried to stop her. The guard alleged that she tried to leave the store with more than $300 worth of bed linens and other merchandise that she had not bought.
