A doctor’s $250 black leather bomber jacket was stolen from a cubicle in an emergency room at Hoffman Estates Medical Center on Wednesday night while he was operating on a patient nearby, police said. The physician at the hospital, at 1555 N. Barrington Rd., told police that the jacket, which he had left on a cot, was stolen between 11:20 and 11:35 p.m.
