See some spectacular stunts
First, it was the Batman Ride. Now, Six Flags Great America in Gurnee is getting ready for the Batman Stunt Show. The Gotham City crimefighter will do battle with the Joker and other bad guys in a live-action show beginning May 15. The Hollywood-style show will feature fiery explosions and batmobile crashes in a new 3,200-seat amphitheater. Park admission will get you into the 30-40 minute show.
Collect the Caped Crusader
Swinging in from Gotham City this spring will be Topps’ Batman Animated cards. Based on the Fox TV show, the glossy 100-card set will come 10 to a pack with a suggested retail price of 99 cents. Special vinyl stickers, which are part of a six-card subset, will be inserted about one to every 18 packs. Collectors can check their local hobby and comic stores early next month for the Caped Crusader.
