A 78-year-old Aurora woman was attacked by two men early Tuesday when she went to the rear of her home to throw out the garbage. The woman, who lives in the 200 block of West Downer Place, took the garbage out at 1:50 a.m. At the bin, she encountered two men, one of whom swore at her. The men then swung at her. When she put her arms over her head, she sustained numerous cuts on her forearms, police said.
