Two jackets, a diamond ring, a radio and a compact disc player worth a total of about $3,600 were reported stolen Sunday from a 1992 Nissan Sentra that had been parked in the 500 block of South Consumers Drive, police said. The thieves apparently used a “no parking” sign to smash a passenger window on the vehicle, they said.
