– Bank purchase: Illinois affiliates of First of America Bank Corp., Kalamazoo, Mich., have entered into an agreement to purchase 14 Illinois branch offices of Miami-based Citizens Federal Bank. The Citizens offices are in central and southern Illinois. The sale is expected to be completed this year. First of America presently has 114 offices in Illinois.
