A recent morning we took our daughter-in-law and infant grandchild to O’Hare from the south suburbs. Due to heavy traffic and construction, it took one hour and 45 minutes.

The flight left the gate on time. Due to crowded runways, however, the plane stayed on the ground 1 1/2 hours. Naturally they missed the connecting flight.

We paid $4 for 1 1/2 hours of parking and $3.20 in tolls.

Anyone who believes we do not need a third airport in Peotone has not been to O’Hare in the past year.
