Two men were injured after their cars collided last week at Illinois Highway 25 and Fabyan Parkway in Geneva. John A. Schmeisser, 78, of Aurora, was admitted to Delnor-Community Hospital and released Sunday, according to a hospital spokeswoman. The other driver, Blake E. Brockman, was treated at Delnor and released the same day, she said. Police cited Schmeisser for allegedly failing to yield while turning left. Police said the collision occurred when Brockman’s southbound vehicle struck Schmeisser’s car, which was turning left onto southbound Illinois 25 about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday.
