A Zion man was free on bond after police charged him during the weekend with punching his girlfriend’s former boyfriend. Reports said James L. Blankenship, 18, of 2407 Gilboa Ave. reportedly went to the home of the Winthrop Harbor man and accused him of having sex with his live-in girlfriend before hitting him.
