A Villa Park man was released on bond Sunday after being charged with driving under the influence and possession of cannabis. Police said an officer saw Daniel Ray Murillo, 32, of 446 N. Harvard, drive into a stairwell of a parking lot at 11901 Southwest Highway. Murillo, who also was charged with driving on a sidewalk, was caught with a brass pipe containing cannabis, police said.
