Top teachers: Three women professors at the University of Illinois at Chicago were among five faculty members who received the 1993 UIC Award for Excellence in Teaching. They are Margaret Strobel, a professor of history and women’s studies; Mary Lee of the College of Pharmacy; and Kathleen Crittenden, professor of sociology.
