Gary A. Wadzinski, 24, 1717 Schubert Ct., Glendale Heights, was charged with resisting arrest and being in a park after hours Tuesday. Police said they went to Butterfield Park at 2 a.m. and found Wadzinski sitting on a bench. He told the officers he had a gun and threatened to kill himself, police said. Wadzinski, who did not have a gun, struggled with police. He was taken to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital for psychiatric evaluation.
