Secretary of State Warren Christopher Wednesday stressed his support for the complete withdrawal of Russian troops from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia when he met the foreign ministers of the Baltic nations. Christopher said he was “greatly impressed” by progress in all three Baltic states toward free markets and democracy, and he hoped to have a $50 million Baltic enterprise fund operating by the end of the year to foster this progress.
