If you employ a nanny, housekeeper or other household help, Monday is the third-quarter deadline for filing Form 942, Employer’s Quarterly Tax Return for Household Employees. People who pay domestic help $50 or more a quarter are supposed to report the wages on Form 942 and pay Social Security taxes each quarter on behalf of their household employees.
