Swim team members dominated Lake Forest High School’s recent triathlon, grabbing the first six places. Forty-five girls from the aerobic conditioning classes competed, according to Robin Straus, physical education teacher.
The students swam 20 laps in the pool, ran 2 1/2 miles, and biked 7 miles.
Participating in the race, either as a competitor or a volunteer, is required to pass the class, Straus said.
