Henry A. Verden, 39, of 15 W 647 E. Lexington Ave., was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis Sunday. Police said they saw Verden smoking a pipe as he drove on Butterfield Road. Police stopped Verden, who allegedly had two pipes and a jar of marijuana in his car. Verden was also charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
