Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

It looks like a Walkman, but makers of a new electronic gadget say it will bring better “music” to your ears the next time you fly: peace and quiet.

NoiseBuster, from Noise Cancellation Technologies Inc., of Stamford, Conn., is a portable device that blocks out droning airplane engines. The $149 product is a pair of headphones wired into a small electronic box that cancels out low frequencies but not higher ones, such as those in speech and music. It also can be used on buses or trains and can work in conjunction with portable stereos for improved sound quality. To order, call 800-228-3141.
