June T. Eckert, 76, a former physician’s assistant, died Friday at home in Lake Villa. She was born in Chicago. She was a past president of the Lake Villa Women’s Club and helped with the formation of the Lake Villa Rescue Squad. She is survived by two sons, Todd and Lon; and two sisters. Services were held Monday in Lake Villa.
