I don’t understand why Hillary Clinton is so irked about the TV commercial put out by the Health Insurance Association of America (Tribune, Nov. 2). It’s only been a year since the election when we were all barraged by TV commercials extolling the virtues of each candidate and the evil dangers of their opponents.

Now she thinks this is an inappropriate tactic? Maybe it’s because she knows what effect a “homey” commercial can have on an impressionable and gullible American TV audience. After all, a lot of them bought the Clinton shtick too.
