The German government put the family of fugitive Colombian drug baron Pablo Escobar on a flight back to Bogota Monday after rejecting their bid to seek political asylum, the Interior Ministry said. Escobar’s wife, his son and daughter and his son’s fiance had spent less than 24 hours in Germany, where they had sought a safe haven from the Medellin cartel baron’s enemies at home.
