Lawrence A. Pupillo, 68, of Marco Island, Fla., formerly of Chicago’s West Side, died Friday in Marco Island where he moved six years ago. Mr. Pupillo, an Army veteran, was a hairstylist for more than 30 years, operating his own business here and later in Marco Island. He was born in Gabara, Italy. He is survived by his wife, Gwynne; eight daughters, Barbara Sligowski, Paulette Kaufman, Connie Scaccia, Pat Rosebaum, Dawn Witchek, Kathy Proffitt, Mary Shipman and Teri Donnelly; three sons, Philip, and George and Greg Witchek; 24 grandchildren; and a brother. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Rago Brothers Norridge Chapels, 7751 W. Irving Park Rd.
