Louis J. Raggio, 34, of 508 Iowa St., Villa Park, was charged with attempted retail theft Thursday in connection with the attempted theft of a bottle of whiskey from Osco Drugs, 942 S. York St. Police said a clerk said he saw a man put a bottle inside his coat. When the clerk tried to stop him, the man dropped the bottle and ran from the store. The whiskey was valued at $29.
