Police said four residents of East Chicago, Ind., were accused Wednesday of stealing clothing from Carson Pirie Scott & Co., 400 Lincoln Mall Drive. A traffic stop led to theft charges against Tyron Shepard, 42; Tameca Person, 20; Walter D. Davis, 48; and Theodore Jones, 45. Shepard, the driver of the vehicle, also was charged with two counts of unlawful use of weapon, and driving with a suspended license and a defective windshield.
