Henry Stern, 96, a former Chicago movie theater owner, died Thursday at the Bethany Terrace Nursing Home. Mr. Stern operated six Chicago-area theaters, including the Cinema Theatre at Chicago and Michigan Avenues. He also was a member of B’nai B’rith and the Zionist Organization of America. Mr. Stern is survived by his wife, Frances; two sons, Richard and Larry; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at noon Sunday in West Suburban Temple Har Zion, 1040 Harlem Ave., River Forest.
