With a victory Sunday, the Bears will draft between 11th and 17th. A loss will give the Bears a pick between 8th and 14th, depending on what other teams do.

Steinberg feels Bears coach Dave Wannstedt should be patient with Harbaugh.
“I just don’t know what’s in Wannstedt’s head. He was there when Aikman was having all sorts of problems his first year,” Steinberg said.
“I have always felt Harbaugh belonged in a 49ers offense, where he could just dink and dunk and get some help . . . I mean, just look at Scott Mitchell this year. He was like the sixth quarterback (coming out in the draft in 1990). There was Jeff George and Andre Ware and Cary Conklin ahead of him. All of those guys are having problems. And here is Scott Mitchell lighting it up.”
Homebound: Bears rookie wide receiver Curtis Conway was looking forward to returning to his native Southern California on Sunday.
“My family will get a chance to see me play,” said Conway, who grew up in Los Angeles and played at Southern Cal. “Every time I call home after one of our games, I ask them: `Did the game come on out there?’ But they say it didn’t come on.”
“I still have a lot to learn and there is a lot I have to work on,” Conway said. “I went through a lot this year. The criticism doesn’t bother me as much as it did before. The best of my years are ahead of me.”
