The future bride, a graduate of MacCormac Business College in Chicago, is a court reporter for the state of Illinois.
Her father, the late Richard Allen Walk, was an insurance broker and president of Richard Walk and Associates, Inc. in Wheeling. Her mother is a Chicago elementary schoolteacher.
The future bridegroom attended Northern Illinois University, DeKalb and is owner of PRINT-Xpress in Skokie.
His parents are both retired.
An April wedding is planned.
