The Boy Scouts of America should have every right to admit who they want and to include in their oath or promise whatever they feel is appropriate. However, those who do not share these views should have the same opportunities to get into scouting as others.
But if the Boy Scouts do not relent, why not follow the example of many European countries where there are Catholic and Protestant Scout organizations.
