Heading south: Caterpillar Inc. has selected a Roane County, Tenn., site for a parts-manufacturing facility that eventually will employ 120 people. The heavy-equipment manufacturer will be moving the fabrication operation from its 17,500-employee headquarters plant in Peoria, spokesman Keith Butterfield said. About 80 employees there will move to other jobs.
