Reward for success: General Motors Corp. said Thursday its 8,543 Saturn workers will receive bonus payments of about $2,867 at the end of month. The bonus reflects Saturn’s ability to meet its quality and productivity goals while still earning a profit last year. “Some of that was a fourth-quarter productivity and quality payment and added to that was the reward for having achieved break-even or profitability for the entire year,” Saturn spokesman Bill Betts said. Each Saturn employee will receive a check on Jan. 31.
