Harris Bank announced a realignment Thursday that shuffled the deck of the bank’s key executives as chief executive Alan G. McNally began to put his imprint on management.

Five executives, some with expanded responsibilities, will comprise, with McNally and Harris President Donald S. Hunt, a new Harris Bankcorp management committee. They will help lead efforts to achieve the goal of tripling Harris’ business within a decade.

The changes will rearrange the bank’s organizational chart into two broadly defined areas called “personal and commercial financial services” and “corporate and institutional financial services.”

In the past, Harris was divided into departments, each with an executive officer. But some of those executives and departments, including trust, bank credit cards and human resources, now will report to one of the new management committee members.

The appointments, effective Feb. 1, are:

Edward Lyman Jr., 51, to senior executive vice president, corporate and institutional financial services.

Maribeth S. Rahe, 45, to senior executive vice president, personal and commercial financial services.

Richard J. Brown, 49, to executive vice president, corporate services.

Roger A. Molzahn, 50, to executive vice president of operations.

Charles H. Davis, 51, to executive vice president, risk management, and chief credit officer.

In addition to those named to the management committee, Charles R. Tonge, 46, was named executive vice president, community banking.

Louis F. Lanwermeyer, 45, was named executive vice president, marketing, personal and commercial financial services.

The reorganization comes less than six months after McNally came to Harris from its Canadian parent, Bank of Montreal.
