A 37-year-old local man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly slapping his roommate repeatedly after they argued about a pair of shoes. Jimmie L. Plunkett Jr., 9 Parkside Ct., was charged with domestic battery, police said. His roommate, Stephen Scott, 20, suffered cuts and bruises to his face and head, reports said.
