Looking for adventure? Next weekend’s International Adventure Travel Show at the Rosemont Convention Center might be the place to begin your hunt.

The fourth annual show, which runs Friday through Feb. 20, will feature more than 300 exhibitors plus seminars (including a slide show/seminar by Rick Sweitzer on his North Pole trip at 5 p.m. Saturday) and demonstrations.

Because this is a show for active people, visitors can get into the act, too, by climbing a wall and through other participatory exhibits.

Admission to the show is $7 for adults and $4 for children 5 to 12 (under 5 free). Show hours are 6 to 10 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 20. The Rosemont Convention Center is at 5555 N. River Rd., Rosemont. Call 708-692-2220.
