Zemaitis missed the game to receive the March of Dimes Illinois Female Amateur Athlete of the Year award.
No. 18 Naperville Central (22-6) jumped to an early lead and held off Glenbard West 62-49. Angie Hill led the way with 19 points; Kristin Kalivas’ 23 paced Glenbard (6-18). . . . West Aurora (12-15) got 15 points from Mary Rieke to post the 50-47 upset of West Chicago (17-6).
