Fillings were free on Valentine’s Day when Glen Ellyn dentist Steven Biagini and his staff welcomed 45 low-income residents.
Biagini sent announcements to 30 churches in the Wheaton and Glen Ellyn area offering the services as part of the national Doctors with a Heart program.
“We had a dozen children, seniors, homeless people and many who were just unemployed and had neglected their teeth,” Biagini said.
The donated salaries and materials were worth about $4,000.
“One day isn’t too much to give,” he said.
