Corey Murray’s nine kills led a balanced attack for No. 10 Oak Lawn (7-2), which won its SICA North opener 15-9, 15-4. Joe Giglio contributed 17 assists.

Mike Liptak had 12 kills as Richards (8-1, 1-0) won 15-4, 11-15, 15-13 in the SICA North.
Illiana Christian d. Providence Catholic
Dan Coleman’s 12 kills and five blocks and Adam Clark’s 12 assists helped Illiana (9-1) gain a 6-15, 15-10, 15-3 victory.
St. Rita d. De La Salle
St. Rita (7-4, 3-2) won the Catholic League contest 15-3, 15-9 behind the play of Tom Brown (six blocks, five kills) and Ed Budz (19 assists, three kills).
