Police on Wednesday said they are looking for three men who tried to carjack a New Lenox man’s vehicle Saturday night in front of the Frankfort post office.
Frankfort Police Investigator Jeff Dalton said the 48-year-old intended victim was at the post office at 21201 Elsner Rd. when three men approached and told him to get out of his car. Dalton said the victim saw what appeared to be a handgun.
The victim sped from the scene, and the three men fled in the other direction in a late-1970s, cream-color Buick Park Avenue, Dalton said.
