The most vociferous enemies of women’s rights-Rush Limbaugh, Pat Robertson, et al.-have suddenly put themselves forward as champions of women in the Paula Jones case.
This is the most blatantly cynical and hypocritical political maneuvering we have witnessed in a long time.
Fortunately, the true champions of women’s rights, such as the National Organization for Women, have not succumbed to the manipulation of these right-wingers.
I hope the American people will see who is really behind Paula Jones: the enemies of President Clinton who want his administration to fail at any cost even if they have to resort to smear campaigns.
