A boat stored at Lakeshore Marine, 855 S. U.S. Highway 12, suffered more than $1,000 damage to its fuel compartment from what appeared to be a firecracker explosion over the weekend, police said. Additionally, several items valued at more than $3,300 total, including a stern drive, electric stove and instrument panel, were reported stolen from a second boat, police said.
