Beginning: Motorola Inc. began building a $100 million expansion to its Cellular Subscriber Group operations to boost production of cellular telephones. The 1 million-square-foot plant in Harvard is expected to be operational in the first quarter of 1996 and is expected to create up to 3,000 new jobs, the Schaumburg-based company said.
