Sandra D. Roberts, 53, of Lincolnshire, a pioneer woman in newspaper advertising for the Tribune, village clerk of Lincolnshire from 1979 through 1983 and a Realtor for Baird & Warner Realtors Inc., died Tuesday in Evanston Hospital. Mrs. Roberts received the Tribune’s top advertising honor, the Chesser M. Campbell Award, in 1968 for her work with home furnishing advertisers and for her contributions to the paper’s Christmas Gift Guide. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; and two sons, Stephan and Thomas. Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday in Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 30 Riverwoods Rd., Lincolnshire. Services will follow.
