Police are investigating an alleged home repair scam perpetrated against an elderly woman living in the 1700 block of Banbury Lane. The woman told police Monday that on July 6, two men came to her house and offered to fill the cracks in her driveway for free. The men did some work, then went into her house and demanded $238 for the work. The woman told police she felt threatened, and gave them a check for $150 to get them to leave.
