Police said Wednesday they had charged two men with felonies in connection with an incident involving residential burglary and criminal damage to property last Friday. Police said Michael D. Muehe, 18, of 22117 Karlov Ave., Richton Park, had been charged with felony counts of residential burglary and burglary.
Police charged Anthony Cruz, 17, of 4130 Birchwood Rd., Richton Park, with a felony count of residential burglary and misdemeanor counts of criminal trespass and criminal damage to property.
A 16-year-old Crete boy was charged as a juvenile with residential burglary and criminal damage to property. Police said the youths broke into a vacant building in the 4200 block of Clark Drive, causing $200 in damage.
Later on the same block, they broke into a car and a house, taking about $1,700 in stereo equipment. The juvenile was released to his parents.
Muehe has a court date Thursday after posting $750 in bond. Cruz was in the Cook County Jail Wednesday awaiting a Thursday bond hearing.
